We film the guest of honour’s story at our Motherwell studio or at home. If it’s a surprise, we’ll help you plan around it.
Family drop-ins
Family and friends book short drop-in slots at the studio over the following weeks. Can’t make it? They can film a message on their phone and upload it, along with any photos and old videos, and we’ll edit it all in.
The premiere
We cut everything into one mini documentary, ready before the big day, to play at the party or watch together at home.

About Celebration Films
Can it be a surprise?
Yes, for the family messages at least. Many families film the guest of honour’s story as a “gift session” and keep the family messages secret until the party.
How far ahead should we book?
Ideally 6–8 weeks before the celebration, so everyone has time to book a drop-in slot. Get in touch even if it’s sooner and we’ll do our best.
What if some of the family live far away?
They can record a message on their phone and upload it to us, along with any photos or old home videos they’d love included. We’ll send simple tips so it fits beautifully, then edit everything into the final film.
Can you film at the party itself?
We can. Ask us on your planning call and we’ll include it in your quote.
Where are you based?
Our studio is at Brandon Works, 52 Merry Street, Motherwell ML1 1JJ. We film at home across the central belt and wider Scotland.
